£20,482 - £23,029 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for an assessor to join our Business, Management and Professional Department here at Loughborough College.

 Taking the lead across college in Apprenticeship provision, we are expanding our high quality offer and require an assessor who has considerable experience within this industry.
You will play a leading role in assessing learners on our apprenticeship programmes.  You will be the liaison between the college and employers and be responsible for keeping learners on track and ensuring timely completion of their apprenticeship.  You should have a high level of technical proficiency whilst being organised and thorough.  The ability to communicate effectively is essential.

Standards Verifier NVQ/Apprenticeship - Science Lab Technician

Job Type: Part Time

We have interesting opportunities for experienced NVQ practitioners to join our team of Standards Verifiers(SVs) and work in partnership with Edexcel centres to quality assure our NVQ /Apprenticeship qualifications.

We are currently recruiting for the following sectors:


Standards Verifiers for NVQs and Apprenticeships undertake sampling of assessment and internal verification decisions and records to ensure that national occupational standards have been achieved and upheld. They support, advise and guide centres based on the outcomes of the sampling process. They are required to visit their centres twice a year.

To be eligible for this role you must have experience as a NVQ assessor and internal verifier and hold NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications - D32/D33, A1/2 awards or equivalent, and D34, V1 or equivalent.

You must also have industrial experience in your specialist subject, formal qualifications, and be familiar with current occupational standards and assessment strategies.
